Volunteer in India

YR Learning Connections represents Cosmic Volunteers and Volunteering Solutions in offering Canadians volunteer programs in India, a land of beauty, spirituality and adventure. From the Himalayas in the north to the plains and tropical rainforests, this is a country of inspirational ancient temples, colourful festivals, and friendly people.

Participants live with a local host family who has been carefully screened and briefed. Most family members will speak good English. Your family will provide you with all meals, a private room, laundry service (usually), and inclusion in regular family activities.

This is a unique opportunity to gain real insights into Indian culture, practice one of local languages like Hindi, make some lifelong friendships. Orphanage volunteers often stay at the orphanage itself in a private room. As with the host family stay, all meals are included in the program fees.
