Volunteer in Tanzania

Your World to Discover represents BaseCamp International Centers in offering volunteer programs in Tanzania.

Tanzania is one of Africa's most politically stable countries; however it is also one of the least developed. The country is faced with extreme poverty, the increase in HIV/AIDS infection, and a staggering lack of educational resources. Tanzania currently has one of the lowest secondary school enrollment rates in the world.

Volunteers can help in HIV/AIDS education, work on school improvement projects, assist in orphanages and at risk youth centers, teach English, as well as health and hygiene programs, and more.

Tanzania is home to Africa's highest mountain- Mount Kilimanjaro, and largest lake - Lake Victoria, and the incredible Serengeti Plains.
