Rica
Your World to Discover represents BaseCamp International Centers in
offering volunteer programs in Costa Rica.
Our volunteers help protect threatened
habitants and endangered species, work in cooperation with grass
roots organizations, teach English and provide support for local
social and health programs.
Participants will
begin in San Jose where one of our staff will meet you at the
airport and help you transfer to our BaseCamp residence. Volunteers
spend one week to one month studying Spanish with our teachers and
learning to live, work and travel in the country.
During this time while
participants prepare to go to their placement they can enjoy their
time off exploring Costa Rica's wildlife in one of the many National
Parks or on a weekend surf trip to the beach or by just embracing
the Costa Rican lifestyle of Pura Vida.
