How to Apply

Adults aged 18-35 are eligible to be a Volunteer in the UK. Most placements are for periods between 6 and 12 months. Summer placements will be considered if available. All applicants must be able to fulfill entry and/or visa requirements for volunteering in the United Kingdom.

You will need to complete a CSV Application Form - print out and mail with

1. the names of two references (current or former employers, teachers, etc.)
2. and provide a Police Check.

After your application is accepted, you will then be interviewed, in the by a member of the CSV staff via the internet. This interview will provide you with information about placement opportunities. Specific placements on where you will be volunteering and living will be offered based on that interview.

You will need to be flexible about the location and nature of your placement. Placements require you to commit to a 35-hour week, full-time placement supporting people who need your help.
