Fees & Allowances

Fee: $1,995 plus your own airfare to the United Kingdom

You will receive…

• accommodation
• food and a weekly allowance for expenses
• return travel costs from your port of entry to the placement
• one week’s vacation for every four months of volunteering
• individual training and supervision at your project
• support from CSV
• a CSV certificate which recognizes your contribution

Allowances

As a CSV volunteer you will receive weekly allowances.

• Weekly allowance £32
• Weekly food allowance £38 (pro rata or meals provided or
  combination of both)
• Travel is payable to and from the port of entry in the UK to the volunteer placement
• Fares and other out-of-pocket expenses incurred related to volunteering activity
• Accommodation costs including heating, lighting, council tax and television license.

Note: with the allowances you will recover your costs.
